Well, I gotta say…. first, I have been blackmailed into updating!!!  Yep, my partner and bestest friend has informed me that if I didn’t update, she was going to disappear for 1 whole month!!  Geez….. so I reckon that I certainly can’t have that happen, sooooo…  I am updating

So what has been going on in my life?  I would say the BIGGEST thing is….  I am now a student!!  Yes, my friends.. I have gone back to school…  I am studying to be a cosmetologist!!  It is something that I have dabbled in all my life, and was told at a very early age, that I should pursue it, BUT never did.  I decided to go into accounting…  which don’t get me wrong.. that career has been very good to me, but in this world of economic turmoil, I have been unable to find the right fit.  Soooo… it was decided that I go back to school, and get a new career!!!  I gotta say… it is a blast!!  I am the oldest in my class, but have already been doing cuts, and styles…  this is really gonna be awesome!!  It will take a year, but I know I will feel quite accomplished when I am done. 

Although I have been going to school, the garden is still one of my priorities.. and speaking of the garden….  Two Worlds Design is hosting the July Petal A Day Giveaway.  That means that every day you come visit, you will receive a piece to this magnificent kit….

Bad blogger that I am… 

So let’s see what has been going on….  Spring break for the kids, and the garden coming out with a fantastic $1 store!!  Yep, my partner Karen came up with this great idea…  she pick a palette, and the designers use that to make a mini kit which is in our dollar store!  Buy a few, or buy them all and you end up with a fantastic full size MEGA kit, with a little taste from ALL of our talented designers!!  I think that was a great idea!!!  Look at a sample of our first palette…..

Aren’t they gorgeous????????  You gotta check them out!!

Yep, my youngest daughter is 15!!  Last week she got her braces off…  yesterday she got her learner’s permit… she has been to spring camp with JROTC… done a cancer fund raiser called Relay for Life for 18 hours, and is heading to Orlando to compete in the state championship meet for FCCLA!! WOW, March was and has been HER month!!!  I need to get some new photos of her too, without her braces….. her smile is perfect!!!  Other than that, everything else is good…..

On to the garden news…..  Karen and I have made another kit…  this one is called Puttin on the Glitz!  I picked the palette, and when Karen saw it… glitter and diamonds popped in her head.. thus leading to the name…  It is huge too!!  It has 33 papers, an Alpha, and over 80 elements!!  The low cost of this kit is only $6.00 …..  now where else can you get THAT much stuff, for THAT low amount of money!!  It is exclusive to Digital Scrap Garden…  so hurry over to the shoppe and grab it!!  Oh…. you want to see it?  :)  OK!!

I don’t update often, cause I don’t have a lot to say, and can’t really find the time.  I really need to start giving some freebies away too… but…..  I can’t seem to find the time to make them!

This week is going to be a busy week… I have to get the items that Rhea needs to go on her very first camping trip!!  This child has never, ever slept in a tent… so it should be interesting.  JROTC is having there annual 3 days of camping and it is by invitation only.  Many other schools attend too…  which they have many things for the cadets to do…  She is soooo excited too….  Then the following week she goes to Orlando for a state competition for her club FCCLA…  that one she will be gone for 4 days!  AND her birthday is the 23rd, and she will be getting her learner’s permit!  So… in actualality.. this is going to be a busy month.. 

I think I have updated…  gonna try and get some freebies made for my next post…

My wonderful partners and I are soooo excited at all the happenings going on…  the new members kit for one!  Elaine has this really neat thing that she is doing called Baby O Baby Honors….  it really is special.  Since her grandchildren call her Mimi…  she is now our garden Mimi!!!  You really feel special when she gives you that honor!  Oh, and Liz (my dear sweet friend) has this photo challenge called point and shoot!  It is soooo unique that you really need to check it out…

Good morning everyone….  Sheesh, it has been a long week!  Today is going to be just as long..   Rhea has an orthodontis appt,  groceries to buy, and of course to get ready for the weekend.  Joey has officially turned 18!!  His friends decorated his car…. baked him 3 cakes… and he has enough balloons to fill his room!    All in all, he had an awesome birthday!  I think my long week has come from the activity in my designing world!!!

Karen Wallace Designs and Ladybug Graphix have joined  talents to create a new design team!  Yep, the new team is TWO WORLDS DESIGN!!!  How cool is that?  Not only is Karen a very talented designer, but she is a very special friend.  I think we both met at a time in our lives, where if asked…..  she has done more for me than she will ever know, and vice a versa…  but, let’s not get all mushy here..
